Well it depends how you look at it. Humanity is different.
It also depends if you believe in God. If you believe in God you believe in the Bible. If you believe in the Bible you'll believe in psa 78:69. It depends where you think the truth is. Eventually only the people who care enough will find that out. If its like in the days of Noah like the bible explains than yes most humans won't care., but if there was an end to it all one's life wouldn't have a true meaning.
Now humanity thats another story. I personally don't think anyone can guess the answer. It will be a big surprise. If the bible says people will be still getting married, that means it will be a big huge surprise. No wedding, no cake, no honeymoon for many just a loud kaboom.

In college, I took an awesome class called "History of the Future"
In that class, we studied various theories about the future of the planet, including threats to society such as war, disease, famine, etc.
Also, once a week we watched a futuristic movie. I remember watching Soylent Green, because of *SPOILER*
Charlton Heston's famous line, "SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!!!"
