Why is it you believe what that book says to be fact? I just want to know how anyone can lay so much blind faith in something they have no basis to believe in if they use common knowledge.
If a certain large mass of people believe it to be fact, is it?
Almost all the worlds population thought the world to be flat, until proved otherwise.
I'm not trying to diss your beliefs, I'm just saying isn't it a bit more logical to question something rather than blindly believe it?
If the Bible were proven to be fact, would there be any free will involved to believe it?
To me, there is no doubt that God is real. I have experienced things that cannot be explained in any other way. I also believe that God has led the men writing the Bible over the years as well.
I understand why you may have doubt, but you should also understand why I do not.

Onto Religion... people want proof of God. They but saying that he does or doesn't exist is just your view/opinion. We will never know (unless their is an actual afterlife) which is true. However I chose to believe because I personally think we all need something to believe in. My $.02

Well, I can respect that. Believe me, I have nothing against people who believe in God, unless they are the crazy type that force there opinions on everyone and call you a sinner and say you're going to hell, just because you share a different belief - or lack there of..
I'm very open minded...I'm an agnostic, and am willing to hear anyone's point of view and beliefs.
I will openly say that I am not crossing out the possibility of a "God", because I'm pretty sure there's some sort of higher power.
It's good that you actually are not like the crazy preachers, and can have a very diplomatic conversation, back up what you believe in, and respect other points of views. I appreciate it.
