Personally I thought it was kind of a wash for both sides, they didnt even really debate on a lot of questions asked. Palin wouldnt stay on topic, Biden just seemed intent on taking down McCain. The only thing I really take away from it is that Palin didnt fuck up and Biden at least looked and sounded more comfortable with his facts.

Well, out of the four of them...Biden makes the most sense to me, as it seems he actually tries to make points. Obama just loves giving epic halftime type speeches, and McCain says alot too...but I just dont believe him.
And I swear to god, I know like most men I would def sleep with Palin, but she was so annoying with her "good golly" routine, and her constant winking at the camera..

j/k I am watching it on DVR tomorrow. I am actually just now watching the Presidential debate as I type this. This debate is kind of a wash as well.

I lost count the amount of times Palin would go completely off topic, it was super clear that she had just memorized a few topics like Energy and a few of Obama's voting record and just kept repeating that over and over.
Like the moderator would ask, do you want to talk about health care
Palin: Yes, the energy bills I passed in Alaska etc etc.
Biden killed her, he even took down McCain's maverick status with that debate by showing he was anything but. It was nice To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Palin was just so annoying...All of her "cute" talk is just annoying. She did an alright job, I, like many others were hoping for a complete train wreck, bit she didn't do that bad.
I lol'd at the beginning when she asked him if she could call him Joe

Yeah thats the vibe I got from Palin to, It was beyond annoying to me how everytime the moderator asked something she'd just say "actually I want to talk about etc first". It wasn't even really a debate 90% of the time because Biden would discuss one thing and when Palins time came, it had jack all to do with the topic. I really didn't understand CBS' Analyst after the debate, Palin got so much praise just for not fucking up, but she came off terrible to me.
Biden I thought made the best of the situation, he had his facts in order about voting records and kept on the topic at hand for the most part.

Imagine you are a citizen of New Orleans and you expect another class 5 hurricane to hit, but in the end only a class 2 hurricane hits. So you were expecting the worse and some bad did happen it was no where near as terrible as it could have been.
That's Palin for you.

It's pretty simple. Palin went off on tangents and avoided questions. Throw in her crappy folksy chatter.. such as "say it ain't so, Joe" "dog gone it" "gee wolly willickers" and what the fuck else she might have said... top it off with the Maverick talk, and her performance was unbearable. thing is, she actually did a lot better than I thought she would.
Biden was ok. Not outstanding, but he had more concise and well thought answers and stayed composed.. He wasn't too attacking, but he didn't have to be. By the numbers performance from him, but it was ok..
To think that she could be one heartbeat away from being our President is truly, truly scary.
