There isn't a way to establish a true third party until people drop the "can't do" attitude.
I honestly can't vote for either.
Biden lost my respect with the countless lies he told yesterday. Palin, while her performance wasn't very respectable, at least told the truth. Too bad McCain is senile.
Hey, I am all for third parties. America however is not. At this point, it is a throw away vote.
I am voting for the person with the best chance to beat McCain. Not because I like Obama, but because I don't want 8 more years of Bush style politics.
Simple.

Can we invoke an exemption and restore Clinton to power? Hey, he lied about cheating on his wife, who cares. No war and economy strong as ever.
The U.S. was completely different when Clinton took office.
I look at it like this. Clinton just kind of coasted through.
I don't really get all the Clinton praise.

I've looked through the fact checks and Biden only lied twice majorly according to them, so I'm not sure where the he's a liar is coming from, Palin lied just as much about major things.

You're right. Palin did lie about a few things -- I didn't catch them though.
I still can't stand the fact that Biden claims that Obama never said he would meet with the leaders of Iran & Venezuela under no preconditions. We all freaking remember the drama that caused in the primaries, and now it didn't happen? What a twat. Stand behind what was said before.

Re: VP Debate Impressions?
These two guys' analysis is a pretty good representation of what I thought of the debate:

From a political standpoint, Palin didn't do horribly, mainly because she didn't make some huge inane gaffe that would have made her look like a retard, and mainly because the majority of people watching don't actually pay attention to the words being uttered, or how responses relate to questions. In that sense, it wasn't even really a debate. Palin treated this basically as an interview. But in all fairness, these shouldn't really be looked at as academic debates, because they're technically not. The moderator/arbitrator doesn't declare anyone the winner or prevent people from straying off topic.
Speaking of going off topic, it worked both to Palin's advantage and disadvantage. It saved her from going deep into subjects she knew little about, which saved her from looking clueless, but at the same time, to the people who were actually paying attention to the content of the questions vs. the content of the answers, it was abundantly clear when Palin felt comfortable with a question and completely diverted the point. Again, if this were a true academic debate where the moderator(s) actually award points based on the relevance of each answer, it would have been a blowout.
On to Biden: He bored the hell out of me. Sure he's right on more of the issues, and we know he knows what he's talking about, but I don't think he communicated some of his arguments very effectively. He talked way to much about John McCain and gave way to many compliments to the opposing ticket. At this point in the campaign, specifically at the VP debate, all gloves should be off and both sides should be firing on all cylinders. What disappointed me so much with Biden was that he really wasn't the same guy that I've seen in rallies all around the country. He didn't have the same enthusiasm or conviction that he normally portrays on the campaign trail. Again, his answers were much more pertinent to the questions that were actually asked than Palin's were, but on a lot of responses, he lacked oratorical rhythm and wasn't always convincing.
My overall impression on this debate was that I felt they both could have done a lot better (the same way I felt for the first debate between McCain/Obama). Palin's lowest point was the "white flag of surrender" remark, and Biden's was his constant profession of how much he loves McCain. But of course, my biggest takeaway was how much more ready to be Vice President Joe Biden looked. People are going to say Palin was charming and "folksy" (whatever the fuck that means) and that she won because she didn't make any huge blunders. While I don't think there can even be a winner to these quasi-debates, I think it's kind of sad that the only reason Palin looked good was because the bar was set so low to begin with.
