To think either of these two could be one heartbeat away from presidency is scary, not to mention the other two actually running for presidency. We are in deep shit either way, so does it really matter.

I vehemently disagree.
Obama is not very good, but he is 100 times better than McCain or Palin.

On that note, I'd much rather have Biden running the country than Palin. At least he knows, you know, STUFF..
I kind of feel bad for Sarah because of how far over her head she is, but most people seem to realize that now and I say "most" because FOX News is still out there trying to spin her BS into a positive. Scary.

To think that Biden has been a Senator for over 30 years and Palin has only been in politics for 6 years should scare people.
And four of those years she was the mayor of some small Alaskan town.

Although true, I'm simply stating that our country will not get any better regardless IMO. If McCain wins, then it will get worse. If Obama wins, I'm not all that sure it will get any better. unfortunately it comes down to whom sells themselves better, like any election. Just because they are good salesmen, doesn't mean they are good for the job. Too bad Hilary didn't make it. At least we would have got a two for one deal To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. .
I watched the debate and it was pretty boring. Nothing accomplished other than both seemed to show that they were pretty down to earth. Palin may not know a lot, but she did show she was trainable and smart enough to research her responses. What she obviously could not answer she steered away from which is all part of a great debater. I myself am not into politics, but I will say that with this bail out situation, i'm paying more attention to what's going on.

Trainable, maybe.. but I don't think that's what the general population wants to see. I certainly do not want to hear rehearsed and scripted answers that her party wrote down for her.
Biden was speaking off the cuff and at no point was he ruffling through his notes. I like a leader that knows what he's talking about, is concise, informative, and understands his policies enough to speak on them without sounding like a drone. He's not perfect but between him and Sarah, ha, it's not a contest.

There isn't a way to establish a true third party until people drop the "can't do" attitude.
I honestly can't vote for either.
Biden lost my respect with the countless lies he told yesterday. Palin, while her performance wasn't very respectable, at least told the truth. Too bad McCain is senile.
that's the kind of attitude the media loves to hear! To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
