Do you do your own or pay someone to do them for you?

Do you get money back or have to pay Uncle Sam (or the Queen)?

We have someone do them for us, it's so much easier that way. We usually get a pretty good return too.

My parents take my W-2 to the guy who does their taxes and he takes care of everything. I could probably do my own, because I don't own any land, stocks, etc. and I don't have any dependents, and I don't have a bunch of tax write-offs. Mine are pretty straight-forward

I did my own last year. This year I'm fucked.

With the sale of a business, then business write offs, stock purchases, investments, purchase of a house, it'll get way complicated. I'm probably gonna be paying in the thousands, even after writing off all my schooling and such.
