Wiffleball (I don't know why Blitz would spell that with an "h") is basically baseball played with this:

So it's basically impossible to get hurt. It's played by mostly little kids or old people.
Kickball is in the same vein, except a large rubber ball is kicked where a baseball (or a "whiffle" ball) would be batted. Same four bases. Same rules, etc.
You've never been linedrived in the head with one of those bastards. I've only had it happen to me once, but I've put many people down for the count playing wiffle ball. It's hilarious, but still painful.

...people have died from getting by baseball line drives. A wiffle ball line drive hit by Ryan Howard might give you a bruise if it hit you.
For some reason we called it 'soccer-baseball' when I was in elementary school. I think we played it every single day in gym class. And most days we just skipped art and music, occasionally French, and played it some more. And I freakin' ruled at it. This thread has reminded me of how much I miss it.
Though I am playing in a giant dodgeball tournament at my school in a few weeks. That should be fun.
