I suppose you're right, Tom.. but it is Georgia after all. I don't buy this nationalism tip that Putin and Medvedev are on.. It seems very excessive for what's transpired. I think they just wanted to fuck some shit up.

I'd suspect that Georgia may be the victim of a game called intimidation aimed at Norway, Canada and the United States. Each of the countries want ownership of the northwest passage, and Russia is very adamant that it is theres, as is Canada.

I've been hearing that the US media is the only one portraying Russia as the bad guys.

So to my UK, Australian, and Canadian friends, what's the media saying there?

Russians are the bad guys, but lots of our people do realize that Georgia was in the wrong to.

See for us our PM Stephen Harper he's become a Bush puppet, so he tries to control the media to say what Bush wants lots, however Canadian citizens do realize that the Georgians aren't perfect either as what was going on in Georgia is what has happened a plenty in Africa already (minority wanting to be it's own country but majority not wanting to annex any land).

Bush has already said that the US is backing Georgia. I think he's confusing it with the state.
