I would. There seems to be some sort of negative stereotype, like that stay at home Dad is just living off the wife. But if the wife has a good job, and you don't need to work, why not stay at home?
I always have the goal that by the time I'm like 35 I'll have enough money for both the wife and I to stay at home. So, while the kids would hopefully already be like 5-7 by the time I'm 35, it'd be a nice to be able to stay at home with them.
... on a digital cleanse. be back january 8th.

I don't think I could do it. I can't handle being around anyone 24/7 and that would include a wife and kids. Not saying I wouldn't love them to death, but I think it's best if I'd continue to work.
I couldn't either, it would just get so boring after awhile...Then your wife would expect you to clean and do all the house work so she wouldn't have to do it when she gets home...would just get repetitive and boring...
I agree with James Deuce. Being at home everyday would get to repetitive and boring for me. I enjoy being away from home for a while everyday. I enjoy going on business trips, meeting new people.
If I was home everyday with the kids, I would have little adult interaction (other than with my wife) during the week, and I don't think I could handle that.
I'd love to spend more time with my son but there's no way I'd rely on a woman to be the only wage earner in my house. I'd have to agree with Dak on this one
Stay at home, play video games, eat what I want, do a few chores.
That way I could also volunteer more with my kids sports, seeing as I already coach football I could do that, and basketball since I have my coaching in that, and curling. Also could do school shit.
