I don't know, really.. I think these "thongs" people are referring to are the rubber soul kind of sandals with the strap between the toes.

Personally, the only thong I've ever heard of are the underwear/bikini bottoms.

Yeah, I'm not understanding all the hate. The summer gets fucking HOT.. and it's much better to walk around in those, slip 'em on and off, then to walk around with shoes and socks, sweating balls..

Plus, anything that makes me look like a Hollywood douchebag, I'm in favor of.
