Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Switching tables - This is an option you don't really have when playing live, especially in small casinos. There are just not too many tables. But if you cant hit on one table, you should switch. Alot people stay in the same seat, at the same table and just get smoked all night. Thats a no no. You should keep moving until you find a good spot. On the net especially. There are so many sites and most of them have great action. You can always find an empty seat. So, move around until you find the good seat. ![]() |

Like, my thinking is this...let's say I buy-in at a table for $25, and I get up to $30. Now, if I hit a cold streak and bust out, I've lost the entire $30. But, if I get up to $30, then go to another table and buy-in for $25...even if I bust out, I still have the $5 gain from the other table. I had some terrible luck yesterday actually. I had full houses getting beaten by higher full houses (for instance, I had pocket 10's, flop comes Q 10 3, turn 3, giving me a full house 10's over 3's, guy had pocket queens), I had one hand where I guy caught a full house on the river to beat my nut flush. I also had a hand where I flopped top two pair (Aces and 10s), I checked in early position, checks all around, and a guy holding 55 catches a 3rd 5 on the turn. But, my account is still double what I put in 2 or 3 weeks ago, so I'm gonna stick to what I've been doing

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Thats allright Tom. Like I always say, do whatever works for you. Speaking about beats, I went to the casino last night and I was up about $325. Everything is going good, and then the beats started rolling in. I raise with AQ of diamonds. Flop comes K 5 4 of diamonds. I had to look twice to make sure I wasn't dreaming lol. Anyway turn came 4 river K lol. Next hand I get AJ. Flop comes AKK I check, everyone else does too. Turn 7, I bet, the guy raises, I fold ofcourse. He had KQ off. Called my raise with that crap. A few hands after that I get A J again. Suited this time. I raise, a few callers. Flop comes J 9 4 or something like that. I bet, a few callers still. Turn K. The big blind comes out betting. Pretty tight guy. I mucked it. He never opened his hand, but I know I got turned. I ended up making $180, but I wasn't happy. |

Rep Power: 33 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Oh yeah, I forgot all the crappy hands my raises were getting called with...somebody called a raise with 9 4 off-suit!!! I won that hand, obviously (I think I had AQ suited). Also, I love when I find a table with a guy who thinks he's a lot smarter than he really is. Like, a few days ago I was playing at this table, and I had an Ace and a low card in the small blind. I caught an Ace on the flop. I bet, one call, next guy raises. We both call. On the turn and river, I check, next guy checks, raiser bets, we both call. I won the hand, the guy who called after me had a high middle pair (Queens, I think), and the raiser had 7 high, and his hand wasn't even suited lol. I was like "OK, you've got balls, but you just cost yourself 7 bets, and now I know you're a bullshitter". He was gone within 5 minutes
