WorldConnect Project -- Connecting the World One GEDCOM at Time It's very interesting -- I traced my Grandfather's side back to Colchester, England in 1510! The same side of the family arrived in the United States in 1632 settling in Hartford, Connecticut. There are unfortunately a couple of dead ends. Like, my Grandfather's Dad only goes up a few generations. I can't get anything on my Grandmother either, as in order to be listed on Rootsweb, you have to be deceased. She's still kickin (thankfully) so I don't know where to start on that side. It's kind of badass though. I wonder if Ancestry.Com is any better? | |
