i know if i have kids i will give them a few slaps to the back of the head every so often, the good old you got something on your shirt trick, and the sucker punch

Austin i've never hit him. i always take something he likes away or put him in timeout. it kills him. IMO spanking is not needed and it just teaches the child that violence is ok. now it won't work with all kids. but for me it works with him.

Of course there'll be times when all I want to do is smack 'em as hard as I can, but like someone else said, all it does is teach them violence is okay.

i say beat ur kids.

i say that because if my son or daughter does anything i said not to do there getting the belt. i wont beat them for pointless stuff like not doing the dishes but ill make sure they'll do it. as a parent ur supposed to have some control over ur kid and if yelling or beating them gives u some control go for it. and when i say beat no punches or kicks in the gut. i mean ur getting the belt. but ill be dammed if my son or daughter calls me a bitch and hits me hell no! there getting it [ the belt ].

all im saying make sure they no who's boss and make sure they have some freedom but they gotta know there limits.

i wouldnt beat a 5 year old. i wouldnt beat a 7 or 8 year old. but when hes 13 and up and he calls me a bitch or whatever hes gettng it. u put a 13 year old in time out. the bull!
