i would say no.. i've been through a lot of shit and i wouldnt want any child to go through any kind of pain or suffering.

I was never beaten as a child, but I am sorta with LadyX on this one. But only for serious stuff. Like if my child were to accidentally throw a ball through a window I wouldn't care, but if I caught them smoking or doing drugs they would cop it. I know sitting them down and talking to them about it could or taking away their TV or something like that would seem like enough. But the child may see it as getting off quite easy and would be more likely to try it again. But if you give no warning and give the kid the old cane to the palm or back of the legs, it will show him who's boss and teach him not to fuck around with drugs again.
But that's just my opinion.

I'd Pistol whip my kid in the balls then Pistol whip his Favorite Stuff'd animal in front of him, Ultimatly Scaring him for life.

Remember Only do it once so they dont do it again , They'll know they dont want the Pistol being whiped in to there sack again...trust me

none of you have kids but me. when the time comes for you to have them then come back to me with thr same stuff you have said in this topic. hitting and beating your child IMO is wrong and will do nothing but teach that child that violence is ok.

I say no to hitting kids. you should befriend your child, not scare him. Hitting your kids won't do anything other then scare them or make them hate you.
