He bought her a shitload of stuff after they had only been dating a short while. He never told her no. He never said anything that might create an argument. He wasn't himself at all. The kid is mad funny and a lot of the stuff he says is completely politically incorrect but he didn't show her that side. Big mistake.

They act like they want someone who never gets angry and agrees with everything they say, then when they get that they complain about that. What is a man to do? What I have learned through observation is that women like men who treat them like shit. I will never understand why.

They're all different in their own ways. But from what I've seen, it's not that they want men to treat them like shit, I think they want them to be honest more than anything. We all have our bad days, we all have things we don't like, and women want to hear about it. It's also easier to keep a relationship alive when you can argue about something and then work the issue out instead of one partner claiming to be happy all the time. Eventually.. they will build up enough hatred for that person to flip out. Keep in mind, this is coming from someone who is horrible at anything longterm.

If you encounter a lot of women like this then you're looking into the wrong areas. IMO, it can be nailed down to one thing...women want someone who will listen....start with that and you'll build a solid foundation for the other stuff. If you listen, you'll understand her needs versus what you think she needs and vice versa.

I think at first, when trying to date someone and see if it goes somewhere, you must be physically attracted to someone before you can be emotionally attracted to someone. You just need that first. However, I bet that if you asked couples that have been married for 10 years or more, some would say they don't find their spouse physically attractive (anymore). But, what is one to do? If there are kids involved, or a lot of possessions that would make ending the relationship difficult, people prefer to just "float through" the rest of their time together. And that equates to less physical attraction, and less instances of physical acts (hugs/kisses/sex, whatever). It's a shame really, and I think that's a main reason for so much adultery.
