We pay for everyone we order, here, so if they brought a drink without asking me, I'd just feel like they were trying to get more cash out of me. As a general rule, we just put it to the closest denomination of note, so sometimes it'sa good tip, othertimes stingy. That's mostly cause I just don't like waiting for change, though. | |

Rep Power: 23 | Re: Tipping Beer isn't free refills. They're like anywhere from $1.75 to $4.00 each. Most people get a pitcher of beer for the whole table, which has an even wider range of costs. I went to a comedy club in Cleveland and it was freaking $25 a pitcher! It did make the show much funnier though. About tipping though, I usually do do about 20%. If it was real good, I might give them about 25-30%. If they sucked, I'll dip down to 15%. I'm a good tipper; I try to impress. And since I usually go back to the places I like, I try to keep them happy. | |
