Unnecessary Purchases

I usually do this when I see stuff on sale at woot.com or some other random site like it. But sometimes, I'll buy something, think it's totally cool, and never use it. I almost have to ban myself from making impromptu purchases because they usually just send up being a waste. It's stupid stuff too, like lamps, or that freaking iRoomba vacuum cleaner.

I hate those. One of my exes was a terrible Point of Purchase shopper. She picked up like six freakin' magazines at a time plus a candy bar plus a drink, every freakin' time.

I'm bad for it with clothes on sale, particularly when things cheaper if you get them in multiples.

If a CD I want is 2 for $25, I will just find another CD I sort-of want. Or the other day I got 3 tank tops for $20. I don't need three, I needed one. But it was cheaper to buy 3, so now I have white, gray and pink in 3 very similar tops.

I'm convinced everytime my wife heads to a mall, or any shopping center of any kind (save for a grocery store), she makes an unnecessary purchase.

That HMV shit is fucking ingenius. I stopped shopping there almost full-stop a couple years ago, but even now, whenever I find myself in a shopping mall, I can't help but stand and ogle their 2 for 12, or 2 for 25, or 2 for 30 or whatever.

Surprisingly, this is something I dont have a problem with and I am a person who doesn't really think things through, I see something I like and I go for it.

But I am pretty strong willed when it comes to spending my money on shit.

I fall under pressure sometimes. Like lets say im at the mall buying some clothes or something , and the lady is like, ''just to let you know, we have some cologne on sale right here, two for $19.95'' For some reason I get nervous and im like ohh, umm ok and just grab one.
