My friend's life is incredible.
Alright, so I have this friend.. we've been good friends now since about 5th grade. I'll be the first to admit that his parents were never there for him and he went through some rough times, but to me, it doesn't excuse his behavior over the last few years.

Around 11th grade he starts dating this girl and ends up moving in with her and her parents. Everything is great for the better part of 3 or 4 years. He's completely in love with this girl and thinks he'll marry her one day. The date is set eventually for them to get hitched, but the girl gets cold feet.. wants to experience the rest of the outside world before she makes this decision. So they break up for a while.

Meanwhile, this kid meets a new girl who completely sweeps him off his feet. She's beautiful, intelligent.. everything he wants, but he buys her over $500-$1000 or who knows worth a shit only a couple months after their dating and she gets scared that it's moving too fast.. breaks up with him.

His longtime ex-girlfriend gets pregnant by some random dude she went to school with. End of that.

So he's single for a few months and starts talking to this girl he knew as a child who now lives a few states over. She has a kid. He thinks it's a good idea that he'll go out there and 'rescue her' to live with him.. They end up dating and his life is swarmed with bills he cannot afford and begins to hate her. then she gets pregnant. Life over?

Well, no. She loses the baby so he takes that opportunity if you can call it that to end their relationship, she ends up moving back home with her folks.

That's where I start to come in. He's in a bad situation and I want to get out where I'm at at this point.. so I agree to get an apartment with him, we've been good friends forever.. why not? Doesn't go well. Little did I know how bad he was in debt, he never told me.. so now he moves in with his grandmother to save costs. I don't have a big problem with it, do what ya gotta do..

So he's single for a few months until he meets this girl at the bar. He says that she's cool to hangout with but he'd never date her. He ends up dating her. This is maybe 6 weeks ago. I warned him to not rush into anything because A) He can't afford it and B) look at all the shit that's already happened.

so what happened today? I get a call. His new girl is pregnant only 6 weeks after they started dating and she tells me that he would refuse to wear condoms.

Yes, I like the guy.. he's a nice dude, but it's funny how far some people will grow apart after grade school. We basically have nothing in common anymore. The only reason I still talk to him is because we've known eachother for so long.
