Black Friday
So whats the deal. Any monks goign out with the crazy people on black friday? Have you ever gone? Any stories?

I went last year, me and my gf thought if we woke up at 4 am, and went to best buy we woul dbe in a pretty good spot. Well we get to best buy at like 4:25 and there is like a line from the front all the way to the back of the building to the front again. We went to Wal-Mart and it was crazy there as well, but we got some stuff.

This year we are going again, but we will go after the Cowboys game. So we should hopefully be first in line staying the night. We want to get a two Wii's a laptop and a big screen tv.

Anyone else doing anything like that?

Black friday is the day after thanksgiving. Kinda begins the big christmas rage. All the stores have huge sales. So every store is crazy crowded.

Black Friday has a different meaning to me. Over here is the last Friday before Christmas, when most office parties take place and everyone goes on a big drinking session in the city centre.

I have been before and it is pretty crazy.

Since Wal-Mart is open 24 hours a lot of people just stay there all night and try to find out where the sale items are going to be displayed and wait by them until they remove the covers from them.

I don't go to that extreme.

I bought a CD player and a camcorder a few years back on Black Friday.

nah, that's my mom's job. She loves going out there in that mess, getting crazy.. The sales are all bullshit. They advertise something in the flyer and they only have two of them, you get there and the shit's gone. Nice marketing scheme but I ain't falling for it.
