What do you listen to or watch when working out?

I like to listen to some Howard Stern, or watch something to keep me occupied.

How about you?

Re: What do you listen to or watch when working out?

I got to a women's gym in the summer, so I usually go mid-morning and watch The View and Ellen with some middle aged house wives.

Any other time I have a workout mix on my Ipod. It's got a ton of stuff, including some Paul Simon, Billy Idol, Spice Girls, Three Dog Night, Scissor Sisters, Bon Jovi, Four Season, and The Temptations.

Re: What do you listen to or watch when working out?

I have a playlist set up for it. By now I have it memorized, but I'm too lazy to make a new one.

1.) AC/DC - Thunderstruck (live)
2.) Guns & N Roses - Welcome to the Jungle (Live)
3.) Aerosmith - Walk This Way (Again, Live, with Jimmy Page)
4.) Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood.
5.) Fall out boy - Thanks for the Memories
6.) Def Leppard - Armageddeon It
7.) Godsmack - Whatever
8.) Def Leppard - Photograph
9.) Def Leppard - Pour some sugar on me.

And then I'm about done.

Re: What do you listen to or watch when working out?

Same here with a playlist, it's not got enough on it for my workout yet, but it's got -

"Take Me Out" - Franz Ferdinand
"American Bad Ass" - Kid Rock
"Buddy Holly" - Weezer
"Still of The Night" - Whitesnake
"Time Is Running Out" - Muse
"Crying In The Rain" - Whitesnake
"Burning Heart" - Survivor (so I can picture myself as Ivan Drago pumping iron in Rocky IV)
"My Big Mouth" - Oasis
"Aquiesce" - Oasis
"Somebody Told Me" - Killers
"I Want it All" - Queen
Plus the wrestling entrance music for AJ, Edge & Orton.

None are necessarily my favourite songs, aside from the Muse one, but I have to listen to guitar stuff when I'm running or lifting.

I am disappointed at Tyler's response. And so I will reply for him.

Re: What do you listen to or watch when working out?

I used to listen to Dropkick Murphys and Mars Volta and whatnot while working out. But I found having an mp3 plyer to be a pain in the ass. As a result I simply listen to the radio in the gyum which is always classic rock, which works just fine.

Jackies on Stone Cold:
"I think he's been drinking too much...You just don't get any better in the ring then Cena - yeah right. Moppy was better in the ring than Cena."

I don't work out, but if I did my music would have to include:

Eye of the Tiger
The Rocky Theme

Re: What do you listen to or watch when working out?

So speaking of this, I just got back from the gym. Good work out. Bad part is I remembered to take the Ipod but forgot the head phones. That made for a boring run on the treadmill. So instead I just thought about everything I hate about work.
