I don't know what it is about online but I always get my money in with the best hands and get sucked out on when the guy has like 2outs and always seems to hit them. I prefer playing live in sit and go's though over playing online. Playing live this month alone I'm up almost $1k.

To me, the best thing about poker is the human element. Sitting at a table with other people, trying to figure out their tells. Talking in between hands, the atmosphere..... I just don't get any of that with online poker. Same goes with any card game. I'd much prefer just playing with some buddies live.

I've only bought in for $100 total and needless to say I've almost lost it all. I love playing in person though, I don't know what it is about it but I have to play at least once a week.

But there are ways around it like certain CC's you can still use like how I do it. And then in any states where there are casinos I'm pretty sure it's illegal. They are trying to overturn it now because poker isn't really gambling, its skill.

It's really annoying though, because as Rambo said, I play good, solid poker, and people keep chasing against me with bullshit and making their hands. Case in point: I was playing 7-card stud and the 4 cards I was showing were 2 aces, a king, and like a 7 or something. I had a King in the hole, so I had two pairs, Aces and Kings. Plus, it was in plain view that I had at LEAST a pair of Aces, but probably more. This guy stayed all the way to the river with me with a pair of 4s, and then caught a 3rd 4 on the river. Absolutely ridiculous. There were one or two other hands like that where he rivered me, too. And the worst part is, he obviously sucked, so he lost all his money, but basically, he took my money oon those bullshit suck-outs, and then lost it to the other people at the table. Very frustrating

My friends do say that I have a few real fatal flaws in my game. Not so much by how I act, but it's more with my game play. Total over confidence on two pair. My friends and I are again trying to plan to go to Vegas. I really want to get out there, and play.
