So I started my Christmas shopping today. A woohoo! Thought I better, theres so much going on in December that I have to watch the money. If I start now, its spreading it out and I manage much better.

So, who here is also organised, and who is a leave it all and do it on Christmas Eve person?

I shop somewhere between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.

I can't leave it all for the day before, because I have so many beggars to buy for. But I spread it out over a few days, typically during the week so I don't have to wait in line behind all the mom's who buy 400 things.

I shop year round for gifts but normally I always have to run out the day before to get a few things for people I never found anything for.

Nowadays I beat the crowds by doing most of my shopping online. Comes right to my door and I don't have to wait on the checkout line for 19 hours! :-P

Really I only shop for my mother, sister, and current girlfriend... Everyone else gets a card.

As weird as it sounds, I actually LIKE being at the mall around Christmastime. Granted, this is the only time of the year I will willingly walk into the mall, but there's something about it. I love watching all the people, seeing Santa at the mall, hearing the Christmas tunes.....

So I tend to do most of my shopping at stores, but each year I've been doing more and more online. I hope I don't get to the point of doing it all online though. Going through the hell of getting a parking spot at the mall and waiting in lines is just a tradition for me.
