This has been debated for years. It wasn't until a special by Fox that it really became main steam though. Do you think that we landed on the moon?
I think that we did, but there's no way for me to be certain. A lot of people raise many good points as to why it could be a hoax. From the fact that we haven't gone back in 20 years, to the lack of stars, to the random assassinations, it all seems a bit weird, doesn't it? However, when we're looking for weird things though, we usually find them.
I'm going to continue on with my happy-go-lucky life style and just believe we went to the moon.
Did you also know that the moon is slowly drifting away from the Earth? I think that's the reasoning behind mass climate change (re: global warming).
lol maybe we did maybe we didn't. I could really careless. I think the entire space program is a gigantic waste of money when we've already established that the moon and our closest neighboring planets cannot support nor sustain human life. What's the point of building all these spaceships and an international space station if humans and therefore tax payers, whom are really funding the program are never going to get any use out of it??
Of course we didn't. That's why Lance Bass of N-Sync really couldn't go. They knew he'd never be able to keep the secret...
I've watched documentaries about whether it was fiction of not... you know the one where they set up a studio and compare lighting shots.. the flag "blowing" in the wind. (when there is no wind on the moon)...
The Moon is 239227.9090113736 Miles away from the Earth. It takes Astronauts 4 days to get there, which means they would have to go 2,491 miles per hour.
With data like that... being a civilian and not exactly knowing the technological capabilities of Nasa... it's hard to comprehend that we could travel that fast...
I want to believe we have been there, and that the government isn't F'ing with us.. but who knows...

Re: Did the USA actually land on the moon?
Without knowing much about space travel (not a subject that greatly excites....I mean c'mon if I said I liked wrestling AND space travel I'd have to kill myself for sheer geekocity) have the US travelled there frequently since the 60's?
That was nearly 40 years back and, you'd have thought, if it was possible to go there then there'd be all kinds of rich guys around the world travelling there constantly now just to say they've done it.
So in short America, you want the truth, well you can't handle the truth....bah, I deride your truth handling qualities.

Re: Did the USA actually land on the moon?
If the US decided that Saddam had hidden the WMD's on the moon, and therefore declared war on it, they would, obviously, blow it up. But what do you think would happen to the tide if we did that...

I once got into a huge argument with this stupid fucking girl I used to be friends with about the lunar landing.
Her: Well, how come the flag is being held up by the wind if there's no wind on the moon
Me: Simple, it's not blowing in the wind
Her: But if it isn't, then why doesnt the flag just droop down like all flags do when there's no wind
Me: Because there's almost no gravity on the moon. If you extend the flag out and let go of it, it will pretty much stay in the same position. And if you position it in such a way that it had a rippling effect or whatever, it will just stay that way
Her: But there's no wind to hold it up!
Here's NASA's explanation of everything, and most of it holds up to common sense...
