Lord, Christmas season has already begun...

So on my way to work this morning, I'm flipping the various radio channels, and stop when I hear "WNIC. Your official Christmas station." I'm like: okay, good to know they'll be playing Christmas music soon.

But no, then right after the promo comes the start of Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is You". I about punched my radio display. Are radio stations around you all doing the same thing? I haven't even taken down my Halloween decorations yet, and already I'm hearing this crap on the radio?

I know, granted retail stores have had Christmas stuff up since the Back-to-School crap has ended, but playing it on the radio, too? On Monday I saw workers hanging Christmas lights on the buildings in the downtown area. MONDAY! BEFORE HALLOWEEN!!

What else have you already noticed in your areas? Christmas trees already decorated perhaps? Do you have an issue with this yet? My jack-o-lantern isn't even blown out, and already Christmas lights are lit. How much farther could this go?!

I am fine with this. Once the clocks go back (as they have) and it get's dark at 5pm, then Christmas season is upon us (well for me anyhow).

It's so great to work in Mayfair (near Oxford Street). Even walking to the tube you get all the lights and the atmostphere. Great stuff.

Plus there are usually a ton of corporate idiots wanting to give me pressies and buy me drinks.

Then you get in where it's cold and the mansion is nice and warm and you can watch crap (good crap) like "It's a Wonderful Life" with your kids on the sofa and stuff your face full of Chrimbo food. Man it's fab!

Oh and there's something about it being someone's birthday on the 25th December too. Santa's I think.

idk, it doesnt bother me. I enjoy christmas and the music. I get a little excited when I first hear it. I wont have it on a christmas station everytime i am in the car but maybe every once in awhile. I just wish I lived somewhere with snow, a sunny christmas in FL never quite feels like christmas...

I dig Christmas, it really doe just have a cool feeling once the season starts. But I don't usually think about it until December

We rarely ever get snow anymore it would seem, maybe once a year at tops and usually not at Christmas. Our winters seem to getting milder. I would like to be in Florida or Australia for one Chrimbo, just to see what it's like in the sun at that time of the year. To be honest, nobody from our work takes any time off pre-Christmas. There's far too much good shit going on and very little work to do.

I don't even think about Christmas until after my birthday in late November. I think it's crazy that Christmas songs are being played on the radio (thankfully I haven't heard any over here).

I'm pretty much always excited about Christmas. I Christmas shop a ton in November before my exams start in December. Normally when my exams finish, about a week or two before Christmas, I get crazy happy because I get to go home.

The Christmas adverts are beginning, and bars and restaurants have started advertising their christmas day meals. I like it - the build up is better than the event itself.

While it would be interesting to experience Christmas in a warmer climate, i cant help but think it just wouldnt feel right. Christmas is about being cold and cuddling up near the fire. To be having a bbq on the beach somewhere would just be surreal.

lol trust me, a warm christmas just isnt christmas. I lived in Pennsylvania for 2 years and there it felt like christmas.
