As for me, I want kids, but it's gonna be a few more years. I was just married last year, so I figure I need at least 4 years of running around the house banging in every room and on every fixture before we have to worry about listening to crying and changing poopy diapers.

That reminds me, does anyone know of any good furniture cleaner?

I dont think many 19 year old males should be considering fatherhood period. Shit your still basically kids as is.

My kids are now 6 and 3. I am 32 and none of my really close friends have any kids yet.

I am in no hurry to have kids but I know that I do want them. But I do worry about this day in age of having kids, especially if I had a little girl, I would be a nervous wreck. Kids learn so quick now days about drugs and sex. They seem to act different also about respecting people and having manners. It shows no signs of slowing down either.

Hopefully I could just raise them up the right way and I wouldnt have to worry so much about them.

I would try my hardest to help out, but I don't think I'd be able to change diapers all the often if at all. I'll do the rest of it, but I don't want poop on my chore list

I really like babies, but I like sleep more. Sleep may win out in the end. It would be preferable if everyone I knew had children and I could simply play with them/buy them cute outfits.

Seriously though, I do think I want kids. My mother has told me she will quit work to babysit them everyday. My Nanny and Grandma babysat me a lot when I was a kid and it was pretty sweet. I want to wait a little while though. I have at least 3 years of school left, and I want to teach in England for a year or two. I would also prefer to have the house and student loans paid off before I had a child as well. Getting married is also somewhere on the agenda.
