So we are all supposed to get a physical, what, every 2 years or so? How many people actually do this?
Are you good with visiting the doctor, or only go when you have something wrong with you?
Maybe you have an interesting doctor visit you could share with us. Something about a cold metal pole and bending over the hospital bed? Fainted while getting a shot?
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/3/2008)
Violent American movies like Die Hard, Terminator, and Lethal Weapon do very well in places like Canada, Japan, and Europe. Very well. Yet these countries do not have nearly the violence of the United States. In 1989, in all of Japan, with a population of 150 million, there were 754 murders. In New York City that year, with a population of only 7.5 million, there were 2,300. It's bred in the bone. Movies and television don't make you violent; all they do is channel the violence more creatively.
What will your gf go for? Does she get sick often, or does she just want to check up on things for herself?
I try to go every 2 years or so, but I typically forget. Last time I went there, my doctor discovered I have high blood pressure (yeah, I'm only 25!!!) and now I'm taking medicine for it daily. Not good. So I understand why you should go every so often, to catch things before they become too serious.

I am 25 and have high blood pressure as well. I take medicine every day too.
The doctor schedules appointments for me every 6 months to check out the blood pressure and write me new prescriptions.

Does it run in your family? Maybe it's just something with 25 year olds named Jason that get HBP.

Ha ha...
Yeah, it does run in my family.
I think mine has quite a lot to do with stress though. I was promoted to third key at the store I work at about a year and a half ago and right after that I found out I hand high blood pressure. About a year later I stepped down from that position and went to part time and started back to school and at my next appointment my blood pressure was low and he took me off the pills. By the next time I went I had quit school again and went back to working full time and my blood pressure was high again so back on the medicine I went. I have started back to school now again and am only working part time. I haven't been to the doctor since then so who knows what he will tell me this time.
So it appears that my high blood pressure is in direct correlation to my crappy job.

I can't remember my last check up. maybe 6 to 8 years ago, I'm only 22. I have to get checked out. I know I have a huge sinus infection, I've had sinus headaches for over a month now. My breath gets real bad an hour after I brush my teeth which I brush thoroughly. So that also makes me think I have an infection, but it could be acid reflux as well.
