I haven't been to the Dr in like 3 years, and that’s only because I needed some antibiotics because I was just about to start an exam period, so I needed to get better quickly.

I'm not afraid of the doctors or anything, its just I think the human body can repair itself quite well without the need of medication (unless it's an ongoing or serious problem).

Also part of the fact is, I work at an out of hours doctors surgery, and some of the stuff people want to see the doctor about is absolutely ridiculous. I'd say 60-70% of people who phone the out of hours to speak to a doctor are time wasters (not actual figures just my own). I imagine that figure would slightly fall for a normal practice. I'd rather leave the doctor alone to help those who need proper help, rather than me getting a cure for my cold which I have every winter.

I go to the doctors alot. I have to go every couple of months for bloodwork and bone scans for the whole cancer thing. It's so quick acting, if they don't catch it within the first month, I'm pretty much fucked.

I get sick all the time as well. I get hospitalized at least once a year for throat infections. My immune system is brutal.

I see a heart specialist every year due to a small heart condition I have, onther then that I try top avoid my regual doctor, can't stand the guy.

I never, ever, go to the doctor. I think the last time I went was when I had the shits, scuse my language, after being in Egypt. And that was about 3 years ago.

I dont think people in the UK generally go for check ups or physicals. Its hard enough to get an appointment when theres something wrong with you, let alone when youre fine. If I need a doctor, I'll either be cured or dead by the time I can get in at mine.
