Happy The Kingdom has risen!!

As self-proclaimed "King of Monks", I would like to extend a warm welcome to you all. I am proud to serve as your King and overall leader (Well, at least of General Discussion, anyway......and well....at least as co-mod).

The purpose of this thread is to build my kingdom, and yes YOU are royally invited. I have many positions open, and would like to begin to fill them. Because I am a King "Of the People", I will let you choose your position, even if it's not one I have listed below.

Open:
-Queen of Monks - Erin
-Prince - Crocker
-Princess
-Army Commander - Mr. Cool
-Sorceress - Gigglypuff
-Lead Warrior
-Lead Archer
-Chief Thief - pbisdaman
-Knight in Shining Armor - Mikklovin
-Servant
-Joker
-Wench - emmathe37th
-Loyal Warrior - Necro

Of course, agreeing to have office in my Kingdom would mean you must denounce your position (if applicable) to Dakland. "President" Dick, I mean Dak...need not apply.

And yes, for those that have asked....I am building an army to overthrow Dakland. Details to come.
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/3/2008)

Violent American movies like Die Hard, Terminator, and Lethal Weapon do very well in places like Canada, Japan, and Europe. Very well. Yet these countries do not have nearly the violence of the United States. In 1989, in all of Japan, with a population of 150 million, there were 754 murders. In New York City that year, with a population of only 7.5 million, there were 2,300. It's bred in the bone. Movies and television don't make you violent; all they do is channel the violence more creatively.

Re: The Kingdom has risen!

I would like to apply for The Warrior for your kingdom. I will make it my duty as MVM (Most Valuable Monker ) to protect The King.

If all else fails... I would take The Joker.

I'm going to stay loyal to President Dak. He will crush you King Jay... his guns will over power your archer.

Then get out of this thread!!!

We don't need your kind in here. Guns are no match for my army of wizards. Black magic will rule all.

Phantom, you are right under Dak on the "King's shit list".

Can I be Lead Wizard? Or wizardess, or whatever the female equivalent is?
