Today in Class

This teacher decides to go APESHIT On me. Here's the story, I sit on monks during this class. I know pretty much everything that's bein taught but it's a "refresher" course. I sit isolated, in a corner. I do not disturb a soul. I do the assignments. I was told BY HER I did not have to do the in-class work. SHE Told me I DIDN'T Have to. So she comes over to my workstation, and starts Yelling at me, and I quote "What are you doing? You do nothing during class. You hand in every assignment on the day it's due. You have to stay after and talk to me because you're not gonna pass this class if you keep this up." Are you kidding me lady? We've had 3 assignments, my scores 30/30, 30/30, 30/30. We've had 2 Projects, my scores 95/100(I forgot ONE Comment) 100/100. And 2 Tests, 100/100, 100/100. Where oh where am I seeing I'm going to fail? And she's flat YELLING at me. Not talking sternly, not just mentioning, She's YELLING. What the fuck lady. I seriously wanted to tell her to pop a midol and get laid. Instead I held my tongue and left class. Did I do something wrong?

Oh trust me, the dean will hear of this. I mean I admit when I slack in class. But I don't disturb anyone. So I don't see the issue

that's not going to fly. if you say, "I browse the internet while in class, but I don't bother anyone," he's going to laugh in your face. By not doing work, and defying the teachers attempt at instruction you are disrupting the class. There's other ways to disrupt and annoy besides talking and what not.

i'm not going to say that, and I do pay attention. I just don't take notes.

Tell them you were taking electronic notes in class.

Unless she looks at your screen every sec you can always state that you had the notes minimized at a down moment in the lecture and were checking your email or something real fast before you went back to it.

Either way they shouldn't care.

Maybe you pounding on the keys and clicking the mouse is disturbing? If you don't want to be in class and participate, then don't go to class.

Ok here's the thing, when I started the class, I was told that I would do a side project instead of the everyday class work, hence the reason, I'm isolated. I have finished said side project. According to Wisconsin laws, if you don't show up for class for two weeks without notice, you are dropped from the class. I need the class to get my degree. This was all handled when I started the course. I still find no reason for a teacher to be yelling at a student. Especially in college. If she had simply set me aside and said, hey, why don't you do a second side project, I'm sure we could've come up with something. I feel she was out of line for yelling, that's my point.
