Are You Worried About Old Age?

While drying my hair this morning I noticed that the few grey hairs I had have actually multiplied into several patches of several grey hairs. Yes, Im getting old. But it doesnt bother me at all, Ive been dying my hair for years anyway so it'll cover them straight up. I suppose it does bother me a little, cause I want to cover them up, but thats more of a vanity thing then fear.

Anyone really really dread getting older?

Erm, not massively. I work with a lot of guys that are old way before their time. I kind of like to think that I've stayed relatively young in mind at least.

I do kind of worry when I hear about people like Ian Porterfield and Anita Roddick this week dying in their early 60's. That would give me only another 25 years or so, and that sounds bad. There's so much I haven't done!!

I know what you mean about people being old before their time. I have so many friends who infuriate me cause they are acting like theyre 50 years old. Which is probably why I have so many friends who are a little younger than me. If I am to have 50 more years here, if Im lucky, why on earth would I want to settle now? But they dont understand my reasoning either, so we agree to disagree.

I worry about other people getting old. Losing my parents is a terrifying thought.

I am ridiclous and therefore do not expect to live very long. If there is an injury or ailment to attain, I have had it, currently am suffering, or will contract it in the near future.

I anticipate a young, random death. Like getting hit by a flying piano on the highway.

I am pretty worried about it. Men in my family don't ususally make it far past the 70 year old mark and I am 25 now so that is only 45 years left and I still want to accomplish a lot. I haven't even started a career yet.

I do worry about it sometimes. Playing sports like I do now versus even 5 years ago is different. If I don't stretch before playing football or baseball, I will feel it later for sure. It was never like that a while back.

Plus, I'm losing hair on the top of my head, not fun. But all in all, if I could freeze my age and be 25 for a few more years, that would be wonderful. I love this age, but in the next few years when I creep towards 30, it might not be pleasant.
