I live in Canada and I wore my sandals until December last winter. I HATE shoes. If I am forced to wear them, I will wear ballet flats without socks. If it's really cold I will wear really warm old man socks in my boots.

Mandals are fine, but I am still against Crocs. Only acceptable at places such as theme parks.

Men can look manly in sandals, like someone said you just need the right pair. They can look quite fetching on some men.

And Erin, totally with you on the socks in boots thing. I cannot wear boots without them, no matter what time of year - now thats a little odd.
