Are you good at shaving?

Now I don't mean, can you make a heart shape out of your genital hair in this instance (that thread will come another time).

But do you cut yourself a lot when shaving?

Do you get a close shave? Can you give us some recommendations as to which razor to use for a close shave? (I use Mach 3 and it is frankly not so good).

Ladies, are you good at shaving or do you cut your knees a lot? (which must be extra painful when I think of how many "carpet burns" you girls have!!)

I cut behind my knees a lot, which baffles me as to how I do that! Im pretty useless at it to be honest, no matter how good I think Ive done, I always find a patch of hair after Ive gone out and spend the rest of the night or day covering it up. As I did in Birmingham

I use a Gillette Fusion Power... it's crap, although I've never cut myself using it. I used to use Gillette excel and that was a far better razor, but I did cut myself a few times while using it.

I ALWAYS have hairy knees. It's not dark though so it's not a big deal.

I use a Gillette Fusion.

I have never cut myself with it and it gives you a close shave. I like it better than the Gillette Mach 3.

i hate shaving. Im not terrible at it, but I cqnt do all of the cool stuff some peeps do. I try to do something cool but I end up shaving some hair I shouldnt so I end up shaving it all clean face.

I hate shaving. Im Italian, So I gotta start right under my eyes, and go all the way down my neck.

But I have a hot shaving cream dispenser, so that helps out alot with nicks and cuts.

You need to go to your local barber and have them teach you how to use a straight razor. It will be the closest shave you ever get, and you'lll probably finish in half the time because they're so damn sharp, not to mention cover twice the area of a disposable razor. The key to a good shave is prep, which most don't have time to do. I go to the barber shop and get a good old fashion shave once a month, just for the relaxation of it. Normally I have to shave daily to stay completely clean shaved, but if they do it, I don't have to shave for three or four days, because it's that close.

I detest shaving.

I always miss bits and although I have never cut myself, I have taken a huge chunk of chin off before when the blade I was using was knackered and I didn't check before I started and the edge of the blade was actually sticking out. Not pleasant.

In my old job at McDs I had to shave all the fucking time or the managers would have an involuntary period and it just annoyed me especially seeing as some of the ladies who worked there had better lip action than I did.
