State university was like $10k a year, I got $5k a year from scholarships, $1k in tuition assistance from the state of NY, and my parents paid the rest. It got even cheaper when I moved off-campus my junior year...the total cost went down to like $8,000 a year. So to send me to school for 4 years, my parents only paid about $12,000 total (average of $3000 per year). Which is quite a bargain, considering how much college costs these days... | |
