I often wonder what we did before the "interweb!"

For example, now, if anyone asks a question in the office "what's the name of this tune in my head", "who was that actor that was in oh you know in 1988" or "what was the name of that guy I had slightly agreeable if somewhat questionable sexual activity with in 1999" then you can just go and get the answer instantly.

I'm always being lazy like this and then wondering why I can't think or concentrate as hard as I once could.

I believe "childhood" is that time in your life when you have little responibility, don't have to really answer to anyone (no, you're parents don't count), and life is stress-less.

So, once you graduate high school at 18, childhood ends. If you want to make an arguement that you have responsibility at 19, when still living with your parents probably...then us "old folks" will laugh and point at you.

ok, so ya im only 19, and you would think cause I still live at home i dont have responsibility. But I don't think that is really fair to say. Ya so i might not have as much as someone who lives at there own house, but I still pay for my truck, my gf's saturn vue, her cell phone bill, my cell phone bill, both insurance, i pay monthly for a wedding ring, I have a fulltime job where I work mostly 45 hours a week, the job is pretty stressing. Ya im sure you could point out all the bills you have to pay, but just because I am still livign at home for another year till I save enough money to buy a house and move out, I wouldnt say I still have my childhood and I have no responsibility. I don't think that is fair to say at all. I have a friend who is 25 and he still lives at home with mom and he only has a part time job and his mom pays for his cell phone lol. He might not have a lot of responsibility, but I am sure he still has a childlhood...

If you look the word up it means- between infancy and adulthood. When do you turn ''adult''? I thought it was 18? But according to jayman your not an adult untill you are living by yourself. hmm.. I guess you learn somethign new everyday.

No, an adult is 21. Everyone knows that.

However, if you want to list all the "bills" you pay for, then I'm gonna go ahead and request I get some Monks points for an over 500 word post.

Most people say 18 is an adult .That is when you turn legal. You can do what you want now. The only thing that happens when you turn 21 is you can buy beer. So to be an adult you have to be able to purchase alcohol? I am very confused now jay jay...

18 is a TEENAGER. Write out the age. EightTEEN. Good lord Slim.

21 is an adult. You are recognized by the government at 21 as an adult.
