Then obviously misinformed and judging an entire culture and sub culture on a media's portrayal. I'm just so curious as to why you suspect clothing or music has anything to do with one's behaviour. I will admit, I do think rap/hip-hop music adversely effects the nation, however to point to it as the sole purpose is assinine, which I might add I am not accusing you of. But it seems that way to me that you have this built up hatred towards them

Some people who like hip hop/rap just geniunely like it and that is it.

However, I would say the majority of the people who like hip hop/rap adopt a certain lifestyle that goes along with it. They start wearing the clothes they see hip hop/rap artists (and I use artists very loosely) wearing, and jewelry, etc.... They also start using words they hear them say, and they even adopt the attitudes that hip hop/rap artists portray.

I know you don't like what I have to say, but that is my opinion and I am entitled to it no matter what you think.

I realize looking back it looks like I'm attacking your views dak, and for that I apologize, It just doesn't seem you are open to anyone's opinion other than your own. And the fact that you blamed a sub-culture I frequent as the main cause of American Deterioration really set me off. I am not trying to change your views or that just merely calling them as I see them. I just want to state it's not your totally your views, it's your seemingly unopeness to anyone elses opinons

And I would say the majority of people who make that generalization are ignorant, misdirected conservatives who put a slash between rap and hip-hop because they don't know the difference, who make rash judgments about an outside world they've never come close to experiencing, and who duck behind the old "I'm entitled to my own opinion and that's that" after realizing they've come across as racist, which they probably are.

I can generalize, too.

you aren't even being receptive to the idea that there is another opinion out there besides yours. you listen to an opinion and they say it's wrong.
