With regards to germs and bacteria and the like? Im not, at all, I tend to have a really blase attitude of "whatever doesnt kill you, make you stronger!" Probably knowing my luck some nasty little germ will kill me some day.
Ive been on a food safety course all day and its horrifying to learn how Im putting myself in danger everyday. About how salmonella and E-Coli and other little nasties are in our food at all times and how just ooking your food at the wrong temperature one day can kill you. We seem to think, well I did, that these things werent in my food at all, but theyre always there. Theres always the risk of salmonella poisoning. There was an example of one woman who left chicken in a boiler cooker overnight, thinking it was the safest thing for it cause she didnt want to put it straight into the fridge seen as that is dangerous and ended up poisoning a school full of 10 year old children.
About allergys too. One person on a plane, opened a packet of peanuts and someone three rows down died cause they had a severe nut allergy and it passed down to him on the air.
Do you worry about this stuff? Or do you never give it a second thought? Just bung it in the microwave and go? (Cause that is the worst thing you can do, you know?
