So... we've been smoke free for a month now. Smokers, how have you found it? Has it really changed anything in your life and have you noticed any pubs being emptier or anythin like they were all complainin they would be?
To be honest, I havent really noticed much difference - although after being out I no longer smell manky of stale smoke - much nicer. Pubs and bars still seem as busy as ever. At the moment, Im thinking this was a good move.
Any thoughts?

A former boxing champion was shot in his own bar for attempting to stop a couple of guys smoking, he is now dead, that is an indication of how it is turning out.

We've been smoke free here in Wales for 4 months now, I love it. You can have a good night out now, and not have your clothes stinking of smoke at the end of the night.

The people who did that are idiots anyway and would have done that with or without a smoking ban.

I love going out and not reeking of smoke afterwards. I work in a tobacconist and it hasn't damaged the sales much...I think more people are buying snuff and rolling tobacco though.
Also its encouraging several of my idiot smoking friends to quit - so bonuses all round! To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

You can't even get away with that here. It's a total smoking ban. Any enclosed space, which includes bus shelters, and even company cars that contain more than just the driver.
