Our offices are really split up, so we have an instant message system that most people use to communicate and keep track of others. I just put the "I'm currently in a meeting" message up and no one cares.
I usually have a good excuse as to where I was, but like I mentioned in another thread.. there's this chick I love love love in the library and when I'm caught in there, there's really no good explanation why I'm there.. It sucks.
When I was a key holder I did this all the time. I would just go sit in the office or the warehouse.
Now that I gave up the key, there is very little free time. I am usually running the register my whole shift.

I'll do an occasional "Starbucks" run for the staff or go down to M&S and pick up some treats for everyone, or have a mooch around Selfridges or Hyde Park for a while.
We don't have lunch hours per se, you just go out for a while if you feel that way inclined.

Whenever my friends are having a slow day with me, we'll all head out to usually a Buffalo Wild Wings (place with great wings, bar type atmosphere, etc) and just have a long lunch there. I'll come back whenever the mood strikes.
In Mayfair, West London (kind of Central really though),just off of Oxford Street
Sounds nice.
I'd like to work in London one day.
