With us, we've agreed that 2 children is the right number for us. We both had a sibling and that's worked out well. I would like to have a boy and a girl, just so we have the pleasure of raising both genders.

My wife was an "oops". Her parents were told they couldn't have kids, so they adopted her sister (older by 10 years). Then, when they were about 41, OOPS! There she comes. She wishes her parents were a little younger when she was a kid, so she would be able to "play" more with them, but such is life.

I don't think we should be governing ourselves. What we need is a king, and every now and then if the king's not doing a good job, we kill him.

The Phantom

I'd love to have a few kids in the future. At the moment I'm no where near ready. Once I've settled down in a long-term, meaningful relationship, then and only then will I think about bringing some young Phantoms into this world.

I was planned, although when my Mum told my grandma she was pregnant she reacted by saying "You????!!!" cause my Mum had very much the same attitude to children that I do now.

You might say I was half oops / half planned. My mom lied to my dad about being on birth control. Haha, what an awful situation.
