In light of it being 3:14 am, and my not being able to sleep, I was wondering, what do you guys, if anything, use to help you sleep? Do you take heaps of NyQuil? Sleepin Pill? Milk? Anything?
And I don't think, you see the places inside me that I find you,
And I don't know, how we separate the lies here from the truth,
And I don't know, how we woke up one day somehow thought we knew,
Exactly what we're supposed to do.
So leave me, at the Roadside,
And hang me, up and out to dry,
normally I just try and unwind as best I can, with a hot drink whilst listining to some calm easy listining music. Normally puts me in the mood for a sleep. Sometime I used to go for a walk. That helped.
When I get off of work I usually can't go right to sleep so I usually read a book if I want to go to sleep right away or just turn on the tv and make sure what I am watching isn't interesting enough to keep me awake much longer.
I'm with you. Watching that series could make me zonk out in under 10 seconds.
When I'm ready to sleep, if I need assistance I'll start reading a book. Before I know it, my eyelids will start getting heavy and I'll be asleep in no time. I've woken up to a book on my lap many times.
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/3/2008)
Violent American movies like Die Hard, Terminator, and Lethal Weapon do very well in places like Canada, Japan, and Europe. Very well. Yet these countries do not have nearly the violence of the United States. In 1989, in all of Japan, with a population of 150 million, there were 754 murders. In New York City that year, with a population of only 7.5 million, there were 2,300. It's bred in the bone. Movies and television don't make you violent; all they do is channel the violence more creatively.
I go on my computer, and go to the file where I saved all my giggly pics, :wank: (go at it for awhile) clean up if im not too exhausted, and call it a night.
