Solutions to UK knife crime

Not sure if this is becoming such a populist debate Stateside, but "over here" knife culture and stabbings (particularly among the teens) is the current vogue.

But what are the solutions to reducing this particularly crime?

Well there are so many stores that sell knives without even attempting to ask for ID.

You can never eradicate a crime before the fact, the only way to stop this knife and gang culture is through a rigourous judicial system. You stab someone to death, you do life, proper life, no parole.

You commit armed robbery, you do 10 years, no early release for making your bed and calling the prison warden sir, you do a full ten years.

However because Britain has become a judical mockery, with bullshit lawyers playing the racism, poor home life, poor education, i.e. blame everyone else defense, if you stab someone to death, you get 10 years in jail including the time on remand (usually about 6 months) and early release on parole, so the punishment for killing someone is 4 years in a prison with TV, Pool Tables, 3 squares a day, full manned eduation center and gym.

We need tougher prisons and tougher sentences. Simple but never gonna happen.

Prison's are a joke everywhere. It's almost worth commiting a crime, free room and board, 3 meals, gym and tv and all that shit. The only downside is you have to make sure not to get raped or beat. But that's something that you have to watch out for in public too.

Maybe the UK should ban knifes like they have guns.

Moral of the story is that violent people are going to commit crimes. Take away their weapon of choice, and they will get another kind of weapon.

The solution is to get rid of the people, not the weapons.
