Rollercoasters and Theme Parks

Cedar Point. Universal Studios. DisneyWorld/Land. Six Flags. Kings Island.

There's a ton of theme parks out there, and I wish I had time to get my hands on them all. Are you a fan of rollercoasters at all, or does just the sight of them make you reach for a barf bag? I have yet to get on Top Thrill Dragster (120mph, 400ft tall), but would love to if the line wasn't less than a few weeks long. However, if you asked me to get on one of the carnival "tea cup" type rides, I would get an immediate stomach ache.

Do you enjoy coasters? Ever been puked on? Ever puked on or after one? Once my buddy and I were stuck on a high hill of the Magnum at Cedar Point while they cleaned up a bunch of puke from the cart which was still at the end of the ride.

Do you have a problem with my sig?

Re: Rollercoasters and Theme Parks

UK's best theme park is Alton Towers hands down....

The Nemesis, Air, Rita Queen of speed, Oblivion, Corkscrew, Spinball Whizzer...

They are all amazing.

Re: Rollercoasters and Theme Parks

I have been to Disney World, Busch Gardens, and Kings Island.

I do enjoy the Roller Coasters up to a point. I don't know if I would get on some of the ones at Ceder Point though. They may just be too much for me.

Would you go on this one Dak? This is called the Oblivion.

The whole ride - http://www.monksdiner.com/imagehosti...bb33898beb.jpg

The view you have looking down when it stops briefly hanging over the edge - http://www.monksdiner.com/imagehosti...bb3386c12a.jpg

Plus what you can't see is it goes underground too.

Re: Rollercoasters and Theme Parks

I love disneyworld. I've been like 10 times. I've been to riverside, now six flags many times, love the superman ride. Universal has great rides as well. I went on the Rockin' Roller Coaster ride 5 or 6 times in a row. Needless to say I was a little too sick to go on Tower of Terror right after

I'd try oblivion I think. Although my heart would pound out of my chest the whole time

Dmac--

What coaster is that, and where is it located? That looks friggin sweet!!!

As for me, I love Universal Studios as well. The best ride there is the "Back to the Future" ride!!! You ride in a Delorean, and it's a simulator. You have to race through time to catch up to Biff, who has stolen another time machine, and stop him from destroying everything! Woo!!

Do you have a problem with my sig?

Re: Rollercoasters and Theme Parks

Oblivion is awesome, theres not a lot too it, but its still easily my favourite ride at Alton Towers. Although, the thrill factor is upped a little for me now, since me and Half Boy got stuck on it half way up - the only fear I have on rollercoasters is of being stuck up somewhere high, and that was high. So from then on, I always get a little jumpy about going on it.

Going to Blackpool Pleasure Beach tomorrow and willbe tryin the new ride, forgot what its called - Fusion maybe.

I heard they're getting rid of Back to the Future! If that's true, I'll cry
