How do you take insults?

Are you one of those guys that likes to fight when someone mispronounces your name? Are you one of those guys who runs home to Mommy?

I'm one of those guys who laughs at it. Random insults don't really bother me. Or pranks for that matter. If you insult me on something I do, say a sport I play, I get pretty pissed though. Usually it's some fat fucker who doesn't even play who's talking shit too.

I think it's pretty hard to mis-pronounce my name ADAM, not that hard, four simple letters. But if anyone insults, I take little offence, but give it back in not an insulting way myself, but a smartass patronising way, making them feel like a dick.

But most of the insults I get come from friends, who are joking about.

I never go looking for trouble but if I'm at the bar or something and some dickhead makes an asshole remark towards me my 1st reaction is to say "Shut your fucking mouth faggot" and if he does.. cool. If he continues the we can scrap, I don't care because I usually have about 10 people with me and I've never been arrested in my life. A little 3rd degree assault wouldn't mean a whole lot.

I usually laugh it off.

The only time i've really taken offense is if the kids are with me and the person if using crude language or making obsence getures.

They usually knock it off after I make a statement though.

I am a fairly big dude and have rarely been questioned.

Doesn't really bother me unless it's someone random who I don't know. Like if some random fucker started talking shit I'd probably get upset, pending how bad it was. If it was someone I knew, then of course it'd be no big deal.

If I don't know you, then just don't talk to me. If someone I don't know insults or jokes about me, then I take offence. I don't trust anyone that I don't know. I've never been in a fight, but if I go down, I'm going down swinging

I just laugh it off and forget about it until I get home and then cry myself to sleep. I am not a ginger minger. This world is full of haters, I tell you.

I spend all day every day at work with people insulting me, its all for fun cause they know I can take it (I hope, lol) and that I dont take offence at any of it.

If its a random on the street, then I ignore it, thinking "Who are they?" I dont know them, therefore their opinion is not important to me, besides, they're usually wrong.
