I don't like people who don't plan ahead. I like having a game plan for everything I do. Think of Clark Griswold as they're traveling across the country ... he has everything all planned out. That's me.
I have a friend that's like that and it drives me up the fucking wall sometimes. Like, he can never do anything spontaneously. His weekends are always planned weeks in advance, and it's funny because sometimes he'll callme up and be like "Hey, what are you doing in three weekends" and I'll be like "Probably one of a million different things, leave me alone".
Like, I have usually have big events planned well in advance (like, for instance, my girlfriend is coming home from Cali this weekend, so obviously I've had this weekend cleared off my schedule for quite some time), but if it's just going out to a bar in the city, then fuck that. I refuse to make firm plans until like a day or two before
I don't like people who take stuff too seriously or hold grudges with other people. I'm a bit of a walkover sometimes and forgive people too easily but it irritates me when people fly off the handle at something really minor.
People who walk really slowly.
Girls who say 'oh my god, he is sooo fit, i WELL fancy him'. And they're over 20. Grow up.
People who say they'll do something and then don't.
Arrogant people. I can sometimes be accused of that when I come across as a little too confident, but if I do well in something, I don't brag about it in front of people that haven't.
People who don't look at you while they're talking to you.
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/3/2008)
Violent American movies like Die Hard, Terminator, and Lethal Weapon do very well in places like Canada, Japan, and Europe. Very well. Yet these countries do not have nearly the violence of the United States. In 1989, in all of Japan, with a population of 150 million, there were 754 murders. In New York City that year, with a population of only 7.5 million, there were 2,300. It's bred in the bone. Movies and television don't make you violent; all they do is channel the violence more creatively.
