Offenders will be offered drugsThose who have committed crimes such as child sex abuse will be offered drugs to suppress their libido. The move is just one of raft of measures to be unveiled by Home Secretary John Reid. Compulsory lie detector tests for sex offenders are also expected to be among the proposals. He is also due to announce a limited version of the so-called "Megan's Law". That would see parents and guardians given limited access to information about convicted paedophiles. For the first time they will be given the right to ask whether a person who has contact with their child is a sex offender I would personally prefer the old testicles and two bricks format, but this'll do for now | |

He was arrested, and on his release, chose to be chemically castrated, as an effort to stop himself preying on children. The castration took away his ability to have sex, but it didn't take away his urges. In the end, when they took control of him again, he snatched a child, but since he was unable to rape, he assaulted her with an object, and caused even more damage. It's not a solution. | |
