I was born at age 80, and am slowly getting younger.
That's right, my father is Mork.

Things never turn out exactly the way you planned. I know they didn't with me. Still, like my father used to say, 'Traffic's traffic, you go where life takes you' and growing up happens in a heartbeat. One day you're in diapers, the next day you're gone. But the memories of childhood stay with you for the long haul. I remember a place, a town, a house like a lot of other houses, a yard like a lot of other yards, on a street like a lot of other streets. And the thing is, after all these years, I still look back....with wonder.
I was born about 6lbs or so, after my mom was in about 8 hours or so of labor. She had a normal childbirth. My ass is still sore from that doctor.*
*Contrary to what that quote may seem to mean, he smacked my ass only.
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/3/2008)
Violent American movies like Die Hard, Terminator, and Lethal Weapon do very well in places like Canada, Japan, and Europe. Very well. Yet these countries do not have nearly the violence of the United States. In 1989, in all of Japan, with a population of 150 million, there were 754 murders. In New York City that year, with a population of only 7.5 million, there were 2,300. It's bred in the bone. Movies and television don't make you violent; all they do is channel the violence more creatively.
I was a very stubborn baby. I refused to come out! Finally 9 days late, i decided to make my way into the world, and being the awkward being that I am, got stuck halfway. They had to pull me out with forceps, so for the first few days of my life I had these fetching red marks on either side of my head. Thankfully, no photos exist!
