My parents own a lakefront cottage which is too sweeeeeeeet. When they pass on, I'm pretty sure I'll get that bad boy for myself (and wifey I guess...)
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/3/2008)
Violent American movies like Die Hard, Terminator, and Lethal Weapon do very well in places like Canada, Japan, and Europe. Very well. Yet these countries do not have nearly the violence of the United States. In 1989, in all of Japan, with a population of 150 million, there were 754 murders. In New York City that year, with a population of only 7.5 million, there were 2,300. It's bred in the bone. Movies and television don't make you violent; all they do is channel the violence more creatively.
MY sis and I are the only children on my dad side of the family so I imagine we will inherit some stuff. My uncle work s with the Miss America Pageant and own a lot of land and is a multi millionaire... another uncle on the same side owns some businesses in KC and I will most likely inherit a decent amount there as well.
When my aunts and uncle pass on which should be in the next few years unfortunatly, I'll probably get the house. My mother is out of work because of her back problems, so she wouldn't be able to afford it. My brother is 28 and just got a steady job a year and a half ago, so I'm sure they won't trust him with the house. I've had jobs since I could work at 16. So I believe I'll be getting the house. I don't know if by then I'll be able to afford the taxes and what not, so hopefully I get a better job or much better pay by then. As far as money, I don't know what I'll get. I doubt much if any at all.
