So it's another boring, run-of-the-mill workday for you. The alarm goes off at (fill in the blank) and you spend the first hour(s) of your day (fill in the blank again).

So what kind of morning rituals do you have? Maybe you sit on the john for 20 minutes reading the paper....hit the snooze about 50 times, and arrive at work around lunchtime....watch the news, sports, porn?

I bet you forgot to brush your teeth this morning, right? So how do you spend your mornings. Discuss, children.

Depends if Mrs TD is at work or not.

If she is, then I'm up at 6.30, quick shower & shave, dress, make the kids & my lunches, feed the dogs and take them out the back for a quick run around (& poop...them not me!), back in to make sure everyones packed their school bags okay, probably pop a load of clothes in the washing machine if I have time then say goodbye to my eldest and take my youngest to the childminders at 7.20ish, then onto the train station for the 7.43 to London, get in to London at 8.30ish, then on the tube to the office, pick up a starbucks coffee and croissant and then get to the desk for 9. Then fall asleep!

If Mrs TD is at home then I'm up at 6.20, quick shower & shave, dress, make my lunch, sneek out without waking the dogs, then onto the train station for the 7.03 to London, get in to London at 7.40ish, then on the tube to the office, pick up a starbucks coffee and croissant and then get to the desk for 8. Then fall asleep!

At what point in all of that did you realise how old and dull I am!!

My alarm goes off 45 minutes before I need to be out of my room depending on when my first lecture is.
So say it goes off at 9...I listen to the radio and snooze until 9.25, pee, wash, brush teeth, check emails, monks and stuff, realise it's 9.40, put make-up on, get dressed and leave at 9.45 with my breakfast bar in my hand to walk up to main campus for 10.

Oh, it's a hard life being a student.

Well when I gotta go in early I usually set the alarm for about an hour and a half to two hours before I need to be gone, mainly so I can hit the snooze button a few times. Then Ill usually roll out of bed take that glorious morning piss and turn on Mike and Mike in the Morning, then comes breakfast followed by shower/teeth/deoderant/ brushing the hair. Then I get dressed and hopefully catch a bit more tv, one good about my work is it's literally like 45 seconds away just go through the backyard and through the gate and walk down the shopping centre and I'm there!

I don't work in the morning very much but when I do I get up about an hour before I have to be at work. I put my contacts in and then go downstairs and eat. Get on the computer and check Monks and my e-mail, then get ready for work. It only takes me 10 minutes to get to work.

When I don't have to work in the morning I wake up whenever I wake up. I put my contacts in and go downstairs and eat. Then I get on the computer and check Monks, my e-mail, and various news sites. Then watch some t.v. and then back to the computer to check Monks again.

If I don't have anything else to do for the rest of the day I alternate between watching t.v. and being on the computer.

And you thought your days were dull Mr. Durden?

Iset the alarm for 540 cuz i have to be in boston by 709 and this way i can lay in bed a little extra longer, get dressed, brush my teeth, drink a glass of juice, go outside and smoke a cigarette then go to work.

Usually I am up early around 7 or so (early for us)

I check my kids....do a brief run through email and PMs at Monks (If I have any) and check eBay listings we have to see if anything sold for extra cash.

They shave, shower, and out the door to be at work by 8:30.

I'm usually at work until around 5 or so.....i've begun using my lunch break for the gym time.

Then home to be with the family....usually in bed by 12 or 1 am, depending on when my kids decide to let us go to sleep.

I do shifts, so dont have a regular routine, but...when Im setting the alarm to get up, I set it for an hour before I have to get up, snoozeit 2-3 times, then get up, toilet, wash and put my make up on sat in bed. It has to be there, despite the huge mirror hanging on my wall. Then dressed and straight out the door. No tv, no computer nothing.

If i'm working:

Wake up normally around 2 hours before work, shower and stuff then catch the 20 past whatever bus {normally 10.20} which drops me off around half a mile from work as there isn't a bus that goes any closer, walk down the high street get a couple of bottles of coke as they are cheaper than at work and then get round to work and at my desk about 10 mins before i start.


If i'm not working:

I don't normally get up till around 11 so i turn on Sky Sports news and just wake up slowly, have a shower and do any housework that needs doing and then the rest of the day is my own.
