Your 2nd World War role?
Had you been around at the time of the 2nd World War (I myself was a mere 47 then!) and been conscripted for military service, which of the main three services would you have wanted to serve -

Would you have wanted to be a soldier in the army?

A pilot in a fighter plane?

Or a seaman (ha ha) in the Navy/Marines?

If you're American you have the added bonus that you could have been posted to the UK and benefited from the generous hospitality that our "ladies" afforded your servicemen!!

I would probably want to have been a pilot in a plane. Nothing would have been more exciting than looking down at those Axis Powers like ants, and dropping a life-ending bomb on their sorry asses.

Fighter pilot would of been very cool and i'd of loved to been flying around.

However, i'd of probably been like Jonesy on Dad's Army and sold hookie gear
