I have actually never tried steak. It's super expensive to order out, and I really don't feel like ordering a $30 meal and then not liking it. My Dad claims he is going to force me to start eating more meat, because I'm iron deficient.
I swear, unless I ask for my steak very very well done, I get it rare as hell. I don't mind it a bit pink and juicy but when it turns my mash red, it's just not very appetising.
Well Done for me. I don't even like a little pink, on the other hand please don't make the steak crispy, either. Few places get it perfect the way I like it, which is why I usually just cook my own at home.
Outback Steakhouse has a great Filet. MMmmm
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/3/2008)
Violent American movies like Die Hard, Terminator, and Lethal Weapon do very well in places like Canada, Japan, and Europe. Very well. Yet these countries do not have nearly the violence of the United States. In 1989, in all of Japan, with a population of 150 million, there were 754 murders. In New York City that year, with a population of only 7.5 million, there were 2,300. It's bred in the bone. Movies and television don't make you violent; all they do is channel the violence more creatively.
That's funny you mention this, I was just at Outback last night. I'm a well done guy myself but not burnt or crispy like Jay here, Outback seems to get it just right everytime.
I like it medium rare. But at the same time I also like blackened steak and it is next to impossible to properly have a blackened streak while managing to keep it medium rare
